These heating and compressed air filters are several times more efficient than standard disposables, which means they will be able to trap those particles before they can make their home in your ducts. The use of extra layers helps to enhance the electrostatic effect of the filter. This furnace filter generates a static charge as air flows through grids of several types of highly static-prone materials, arranged in a configuration that achieves ultimate efficiency. This static charge attracts and holds airborne pollutants, until they are released by washing the filters every 1-2 months. The furnace filters are designed with ViBax™ MI-50 Polypro filtering material for a lifetime protection against microbial activity.

Please note: A furnace filter can only do part of the job you need to purify the air in your house. An electrostatic furnace filter is not the most effective product for smoke removal either. It will not impact dust mites or cat allergies, for which you need a room HEPA filter. However, a good furnace filter is an essential part of your air cleaning arsenal.
